Since 2007 Bains Connective has been organising project residencies called 'Thematics'. For each edition BC invites artists from different disciplines and backgrounds to reflect and practice upon a central theme. The theme of our March-April 2011 edition was '-18/+65 Politics of the an-aged', with the Flemish community centre of Forest, GC Ten Weyngaert, and it's surroundings as research field. Guest artists Wendy Van Wynsberghe, Marthe Van Dessel, Adrian Fisher en Luna Montenegro are now closing this Thematics during the Plankton Bar #40, with a showing of the open-ended results of their research. Disco Kids expert Dj Fiësto spoils the young (and older) ones with a special mix.

Start the weekend early, bring your kids and/or your parents and join us for waffles, greetings, dogs, L'after Economie, royalty (Vorst), golden years, balloons, pastis, encounters, l'ensemble, Betty Boop ...
